Author and illustrator, Anne Picard, will read her story, which features a dragon that learns how to confront and make peace with an unruly giant. And yes, the dragon starts that conversation with making pancakes. This event is free and open to parents, children and admirers of children’s literature.
5:30 p.m. Table Talk ($5)Emy Frentz Arts Guild
Anne Picard will speak with writers and friends of writers about her mission to teach youth about peace. She will also share her experience with writing, illustrating, and publishing her book. A writing workshop with Carey will follow ($25).

the DVD available for purchase.
